A man named Jahlil McNeal from Atlantic City, New Jersey, was indicted by a grand jury on multiple counts of animal cruelty after allegedly being caught on video tossing dogs over the fence of a humane society. He was initially arrested during a traffic stop in August. McNeal was seen on video walking up to the Humane Society of Atlantic County in July and throwing a pit bull mix over the fence. He is also accused of throwing three other dogs over the fence in April. Charges against McNeal include animal cruelty, failure to provide veterinary care for the injured dog named Brenda, witness tampering, and theft of services. Brenda, now named Snookie, has been adopted by a family in Texas. McNeal’s attorney could not be immediately found.
