Decapitated Human Head Found on Popular Florida Beach

Police in South Florida are currently investigating after a human head washed ashore at a tourist beach in Key Biscayne. The head was discovered by a beach worker on Tuesday morning, who then notified authorities. The Miami-Dade Police Department, along with Key Biscayne authorities, are waiting for the medical examiner’s office to determine the identity of the person and the cause of death.

Detective Andre Martin from the Miami-Dade Police Department stated that the case is not currently being treated as a homicide, and the remains appear to belong to an adult male. It is too early to determine the circumstances surrounding the discovery, and authorities are exploring all possibilities, including accidents or missing persons.

Local residents are shocked by the discovery, with Miguel Muelle expressing curiosity about where the head came from. The medical examiner’s office has not provided any further information at this time.
