State Sen. Randy Fine has quickly gained support from top Republican figures in his bid for Congress in Florida’s 6th Congressional District. U.S. Sen. Rick Scott and House Speaker Mike Johnson, Majority Leader Steve Scalise, and Majority Whip Tom Emmer have all endorsed Fine, who is running to succeed U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz. President Donald Trump has also shown his support for Fine. The Special Election will take place on April 1, with a primary scheduled for Jan. 28. Fine’s strong connections in Washington D.C. have helped him secure crucial endorsements, making him a front runner in the race. With Republican dominance in the district, Fine’s candidacy is positioned to be a strong contender in the upcoming election.
