A Florida woman, Joslyn Garrido, has gone missing after jumping from a private ambulance outside a medical center in New York City. The incident occurred on Monday, Nov. 25 around 12:30 p.m. local time. Garrido, 40, was last seen in front of 1300 York Avenue, which is the location of the Weill Cornell Medical Center, though it is unclear why she was there. She was visiting her sister in the city at the time.
Garrido was described as a female Hispanic, with a light complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, standing at approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue scrubs and gray sweatpants. The NYPD is urging the public to come forward with any information regarding her disappearance.
