A cold front is set to bring cooler temperatures, clouds, and a few showers to the Orlando area on Friday. Despite rain chances of 10% to 20%, most areas will remain dry with highs only reaching the upper 60s. Another cooler air mass will move in on Friday night, with temperatures dropping into the upper 40s and potentially reaching the 30s northwest of Orlando.
The weekend is expected to be pleasant with plenty of sunshine, temperatures in the low 70s on Saturday and mid-70s on Sunday. Warmth will return next week, with temperatures reaching the low 80s on Monday. Rain chances are expected to increase in the middle of next week.

In other news, Toys for Tots will be hosting a ‘Drive-up, Drop-off’ toy drive in downtown Orlando, and Volusia County has launched a campaign to prevent drownings in the autism community. Additionally, strong earthquakes were reported in Northern California with a tsunami warning that was ultimately canceled.
