Central Florida Anticipates Drop in Temperatures Following Potential Mid-Week Rain Needed

A strong cold front is expected to sweep across the United States, starting from the Canadian Rockies and moving into the western part of the country. It will collide with warmer air from the Deep South and Southeast, resulting in much colder temperatures for the entire nation. In Florida, however, the state will continue to see a warming trend over the next few days, with temperatures potentially reaching the 80s on Monday and Tuesday.

There is a high chance of rain on Wednesday as the cold front moves in, with temperatures dropping dramatically afterwards. Thursday morning temperatures are expected to be close to freezing after the front passes through. The timing of the front’s arrival will determine the amount of rain that falls in Florida.

The forecast also predicts developing showers and storms late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Temperatures will hover in the 70s and 80s until Thursday when they struggle to climb out of the 60s. Despite the cold front, a fantastic weekend is expected with temperatures rebounding from cold to mild in time for Saturday and Sunday.

As the storm approaches, residents are advised to stay updated on the weather forecast and be prepared for the changes in temperature and potential rainfall. Stay tuned for further updates from WKMG ClickOrlando.
