Former UCF coach Scott Frost returns for his second stint with the Knights as they enter their third season in the Big 12 conference. Since his departure, the program has experienced significant changes, including winning 56 games, multiple coaching changes, the rise of the transfer portal, and the introduction of name, image, and likeness opportunities. This season, UCF will face non-conference opponents like Jacksonville State and North Carolina A&T before taking on North Carolina and former Super Bowl coach Bill Belichick for the first time. The Knights will hit the road for five conference games, including matchups against Baylor and BYU. The home conference schedule will see UCF hosting teams like Kansas, Houston, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia, aiming for their first win over the Mountaineers in four attempts. Fans are also looking forward to the Space Game against Houston and the Senior Knight game against Oklahoma State. The Knights will kick off their Big 12 season on the road against Kansas State, continuing their journey in the competitive conference.
