The No. 6 Florida State beach volleyball team remains undefeated at 5-0 after sweeping both FGCU and Southern Miss in a doubleheader on Saturday. In the first match against FGCU, the Seminoles shutout the Eagles 5-0 with dominant performances on all five courts. The duo of Hultquist and Flaherty started the scoring, with the team eventually clinching the win on Court 1 with a strong performance by Durish and Koenig.
In the second match against Southern Miss, FSU continued their winning streak by securing a 4-1 victory. The Seminoles won the first four sets, with standout performances from players like Hultquist and Binkley, as well as Andrew and Trusty.
Florida State’s next match will be back at home on Friday for the Seminole Beach Bash. The team is set to play against Georgia State and CSU Bakersfield, looking to extend their undefeated record and continue their strong start to the season.
