AFP Action endorses Debbie Mayfield and Nathan Boyles as pro-business candidates in Special Elections

Americans for Prosperity’s political arm, AFP Action Florida, has announced their endorsements for two upcoming Special Elections for legislative seats. They are supporting Rep. Debbie Mayfield in Senate District 19 and former Okaloosa County Commissioner Nathan Boyles in House District 3. AFP Action FL Senior Advisor Skylar Zander stated that they are excited to support these candidates, who prioritize tackling unnecessary regulations, spending, taxes, housing attainability, and insurance reform.

The endorsement for Mayfield is particularly crucial as she had faced challenges from Governor Ron DeSantis’ administration, but the Florida Supreme Court reinstated her candidacy. AFP highlighted Mayfield’s efforts in reforming healthcare regulations and her commitment to making Florida’s workforce more free and conducive to business investment.

In the Senate District 19 race, Mayfield is running to succeed Sen. Randy Fine, who resigned to run for Congress. Boyles, running in House District 3, is praised for his background as a business owner and commitment to pro-growth policies and limited government waste.

The Republican Primaries for both races are scheduled for April 1, with the winners advancing to the Special General Elections on June 10. AFP Action Florida’s endorsements emphasize the importance of electing candidates who will prioritize economic growth and limited government intervention in Florida’s legislature.
