New restaurants and closures in South Florida

Moody Tongue Sushi, known as the first brewery with a Michelin star, has opened its Chicago-based concept in West Palm Beach, offering a unique 15-course omakase experience with beer pairings. In Fort Lauderdale, D’s Sports Bar has opened its doors as a sister concept to the popular Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse. On Las Olas Boulevard, Earls Kitchen + Bar has debuted with a global menu tailored by world travelers, featuring dishes like Korean ribs and ahi tuna poke bowl.

Other recent openings in South Florida include Fat Tuesday, known for its frozen fruity daiquiris; Sixty Vines, a Texas-raised chain offering cabernet-infused burgers and wines on tap; and Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, serving up high-end steakhouse fare in Delray Beach. Additionally, Mistah Lee’s Smokin’ Good BBQ has opened a new location in Boynton Beach, offering house-brined pastrami and other barbecue favorites.
