The venue, originally known as Royal Palm Plaza, opened in 1965 with Mediterranean Revival buildings designed by local architect Howard McCall. The festival will feature an Antique and Supercar Car Show, live music, outdoor vendors, a farmers market, strolling entertainment, a live art mural, and a community tree project. The event will also include special events, sales, and promotions from restaurants and retailers at Royal Palm Place.
Owned by Jim and Marta Batmasian since 1987, Royal Palm Place has been expanded into a mixed-use development with various entertainment, shopping, dining, and living options. The venue was known colloquially as The Pink Plaza in the past. The Spring Farmers Market at Royal Palm Place, held on Sundays, has been extended until May 4 due to popular demand.
