No March Madness brackets remain perfect after Sunday’s games

In an unprecedented turn of events, the NCAA Tournament saw all remaining perfect brackets busted by Sunday, leaving millions of hopeful participants devastated. The final perfect brackets on Yahoo Sports, CBS Sports, and ESPN were all shredded as top-seeded Florida, Duke, and Kentucky secured wins, creating 24.3 million imperfect brackets in the process. The NCAA’s platform also saw its last perfect bracket eliminated when Kentucky defeated Illinois, further solidifying the unpredictability of March Madness.

Michigan’s victory over Texas A&M on Saturday night proved to be the final blow for the remaining perfect bracket on Yahoo Sports, ending Shawno’s impressive streak of correct picks. Similarly, CBS Sports lost its last perfect bracket as BYU and Texas Tech secured wins over higher-seeded teams. ESPN’s top bracket buster, Creighton, delivered a crushing blow by defeating Louisville and knocking out over 13 million brackets in the process.

Despite the disappointment of having perfect brackets shattered, the sheer improbability of getting all picks wrong was highlighted by ESPN’s report that 30 of its brackets had achieved this feat. The unpredictability of the NCAA Tournament once again reigned supreme, proving that anything can happen when it comes to March Madness.
