Rep. Anna Eskamani, a vocal critic of Governor Ron DeSantis, dismissed the allegations as distractions from real leadership issues, such as escalating living costs. Meanwhile, County Budget Director Kurt Petersen clarified that the county had provided extensive documentation to the auditors, debunking claims of hidden records.
